“a thousand lies”

Hello!

I just got back in Brunei two days ago. Feels good to be back home :D

June 28th
Reached Miri around 4PM. Me and Brian were sent to attend the course/training. We stayed in Pacific Orient Hotel which is located near to Parkson. The hotel was quite okay, it's just that there are no water boiler and mini-fridge. Internet was okay too, faster than the internet I use at home. Hehe. So we went to the mall at the evening and had our dinner at Sugar Bun.
small tv..air-con was okay :D
view from the 4th floor :)

June 29th
Woke up at 6AM. We went to the training centre via an exclusive taxi. The place is quite far away, 10-15 minutes drive from the city. So we went to register ourselves and there were so many people. First day of the course was hella fun~! Our course leader was so cool and awesome. I managed to complete the basic First-aid practical which is the CPR/ABC (IDK which one is correct...) in the afternoon session. In the evening went to the mall and had our dinner at KFC.
see the orange thingy? that's the heli capsule
June 30th
As usual we left the hotel around 7AM. Class started an hour later. The first morning practical was how to don a life-jacket/EBS (Emergency Breathing Supply). Later on we had practicals on the helicopter capsule. Being in a partially submerged capsule was much better than being in a fully submerged capsized capsule in the water. No class in the afternoon so we headed back to the hotel early. Went to Imperial and Parkson for a quick shopping. At night we had dinner at Mc Donald's. We spent our last night at the Starbucks B)

YUM! Big Mac!~

Green Tea Cream Frapuccino :9
July 1st
The last day of the course!!! During the morning session, we headed to pool for the self and group survival practical in case of emergencies. We put out fire and went to the smoke chamber/container in the afternoon. The chamber was probably one of the scariest place I ever entered 'cause it's pitch black. I even got to witness how firefighters extinguished giant flames using foams and water. So cool yet so scary!~ Reached Brunei around 4PM using a Mercedez :D
