“a thousand lies”

Last night, me and Atai sneaked out of hostel. Haha, not escape ah. Our plan was to buy some food at Ayamku Restaurant nearby, but Atai’s aunties were offering us to go to food stall at Perayaan KB[Tudung Saji]. On our way, I don’t understand any single word of what they talked about, because they were speaking in Belait dialect. I was astonished and curious. For so long, I’ve been looking for Bahasa Belait speakers’. I thought this dialect already wiped out under the influence of our modern world… ==, Unless they are talking in Dusun dialect, then I would understand every bits.Hehehe.

As soon as we set our foot at the carnival, I felt kinda happy and embarrass since last night was the last of the carnival *I think so*.Feeling awkward at the carnival, I just covered by face, acting as if my nose is itchy or something. HAHA! Imagine, wearing a T-shirt and three-quarter sports pant at a carnival with lots of people. T__T

Me and Atai strolled around the booth, window shopped. I wanna buy some stuff but my wallet already gone bankrupt. I haven’t asked for money from my parents yet. There we met lots of SMSA-ian. Then, we decided to buy some food across the road where the food stall is. Back to the carnival, we leisurely walk along the crowd, looking for gerai makan. I had beef burger with cheese and ice lemon tea.

At around 9.45pm, we went back to the car. It was a long way to go. Then we went to Ayamku restaurant. It was nearly closed since it’s already late. AHAH! Arrived safe and sound 20 minutes later.
